Max Milburn commits to swim and study at Rhodes College
Milburn commits to swim and study at Rhodes College. A Shark since he was 7 years old Max has consistently competes at the state, sectional, and zone levels. He also swum for Venice High School before transferring to Sarasota High School under Sharks’ coach Andrew Eckhart and was part of the Sarasota Sailors 2020 FHSAA 3A State Championship Men's team. As an Indian and Sailor Max has attended Pine View School for the gifted. Milburn is a beloved teammate and in 2019 was presented with the prestigious FTT (For the Team) coach's award for his selfless team support and sportsmanship he constantly displays. This fall Max will be a Lynx swimming under Coach Webb in the Southern Athletic Association.

Pine View is a special program designed to meet the unique needs of intellectually gifted students on a broad-based campus. Established in 1969, is Sarasota County's public school for intellectually gifted students. As a public school, Pine View is open to students throughout Sarasota County. Pine View offers classes in grades 2 through 12.
