The Sharks were well represented at Olympic Trials with a number of outstanding swims including three in the top 20 - Nicholas Caldwell finished 18th in the 400 Free; Alex Katz qualified for the semi-finals in the 200 Back and finished 11th; and Danielle Valley qualified for the finals in the 800 Free and finished 8th! Three Shark records were set: Alex Katz set the Boys 15-16 400 Free record with a time of 3:57.78, and he also set the record for the Boys 15-16 200 Back with a time of 2:00.66 (breaking his own record). Not to be outdone, Talyor Katz set the Girls Senior 200 Fly record with a time of 2:14.92 (also breaking her own record).
