—————Parent Volunteer Agreement-read/sign this attachment————
The Coaching staff has created a Volunteer agreement that must be signed by each Sharks Family with a swimmer in Groups White and up through Senior 1. This agreement was created to ensure participation of each family in Shark Hosted meets and events.
The Sharks host many meets in order to keep travel costs down for our SYS families. Cost savings include Hotel, Fuel and Restaurant bills that are avoided by keeping our swimmers in their own beds and in a familiar swimming environment. In order to host successful meets we must have the involvement of each family! Volunteer time will be tracked by meet and an email will go out each month with a summary of family volunteer fulfillments.
Please fill out the agreement and turn in to Kim Motta or your Coach by NOVEMBER 1st, so that its completion is noted. Thank you for your support, Go Sharks!
Information was recently mailed to all Sharks families regarding Registration and Team Assessments
- All USA Swimming athletes need to have their registration updated at this time. Please fill out the USA Swimming Registration 2014 form and bring a check made out to Florida Swimming for $60 per child to Kim Motta. If you have more than one swimmer you must have a form for each child but you may combine payments and use one check for all swimmers.
- Assessments are $125 per family for White and Varsity Team Swimmers and $250 per family for Black Team Swimmers and above. If you have children in different teams the assessment is indicated by the highest level swimmer in the family.
- Assessments and Registration forms are due by OCTOBER 18th
March 13-16, 2013 in Sarasota Florida

Ryan Lochte came to visit all of the Sharks teams and even participate in a sprint 25 race with some Senior Swimmers. See the video clip of his visit!
Please note that Meet Management WILL BE ALTERNATING distance events with girls/boys to allow some heats to be combined to reduce the number of heats and shorten the timeline.
